Payment is calculated based on the energy we produce from the woodchip and we see this as ideal in terms of paying for what we get. We have found them to be reliable and helpful and have no intentions towards changing supplier.'

We have supplied the Defra building in Alnwick since late 2010 with woodchip. We deliver to them with a tractor and trailer after they inform us they will be requiring a load.

'our business is predominantly tourism based, we offer accommodation by way of our wigwams on site. We see controlled fires as an excellent focal point for our visitors and consequently supply our customers with softwood logs sourced from Swinhoe Farm Logs. I've found softwood logs cheaper elsewhere but consider the quality of the logs to be superior to that of other suppliers. We also received woodchip from Swinhoe Farm Logs for a childrens play area, it was perfectly suitable for our needs.'
